Volleyball

Coach Ray involves middle school players in practice and leads a district intramural league to build the skills of local athletes for this new and popular sport at Grenada.

Tryouts for the volleyball team are held each spring. Team members practice during the summer, including sessions at the outdoor sand court for strength and conditioning. New members are divided into two teams, a varsity and junior varsity squad. Both teams compete in approximately 20 games a season, including home and away, against district (6A) and non-district opponents.
